Tanto Hydra balisong trainer is a new version of Bowie Hydra. Compared to Bowie Hydra, Tanto Balde Hydra is longer and has a light handle bias for better flipping experience.
The overall length of new Bowie blade Hydra training butterfly knife is increased.
Bead blasted and anodized 7075 aluminum handle owns a natural metal sense, higher hardness and excellent durability.
440c heat treated blade with press fit zen pins with high hardness and has 3 blade shapes. A trainer with a bottle opener, a Japanese tanto and a bowie!
Each of the blades come from the factory unsharpened and are able to be sharpened with the proper equipment such as a whetstone.

Korea now requires strict verification of the personal customs clearance code:Starting July 11, 2024, Cainiao will verify the accuracy of the customs clearance code for all orders to Korea (the code must be valid and match the recipient's registered name and phone number). We usually send a "shipping info confirmation" email on the same day - please review that.

To avoid extra customs procedures and fees, please provide your ID number (personal tax ID) when placing your order.

Chile does not have an RUT (personal tax ID), so logistics providers are rejecting our orders there. We cannot ship to Chile without an RUT, so please provide this when placing your order.
This can be divided into two cases:
Typically, if a package is returned by the logistics provider due to prohibited items, we'll reship the same day we get the return notice and update the tracking. So check your email if you see a return, and contact us if you don't see an update.
Our logistics partners have had a very difficult time reliably shipping balisongs to Hawaii. Past Hawaii orders often required 3+ shipping attempts before successful delivery, and some were ultimately undeliverable, so we've had to close the Hawaii market.
Yes, we do ship to Canada, the UK, Germany, and Australia. For information on our customs clearance rates, please check our Customs Issues Page.If your package is unfortunately held up by customs, even after you've actively cooperated with the clearance process, we will provide a refund or reship the order. (So far, all reshipments have been successful.)
On the day you receive the package, please check the contents - if anything is missing, let us know right away and we'll reship it. After 7 days, we won't be able to do a reshipment.

Hydra Bali is the first 7075 aluminum trainer of Nabalis, and it is inspired by the Hydra in Greek mythology.
Honestly, it's really difficult to produce the handles with 7075 aluminum, especially the anodized handles. We need to ensure the material is pure and its surface clean enough before anodizing.
You know, a small bias can cause huge color deviation. After tens of times of testing, we finally figured out the best producing process for the 7075 aluminum material.
Usually, aluminum handles would have bead blasted before anodizing. To get a metallic luster for the Hydra, we chose to make a mirror polishing and leave the handle soak in specific oil before anodizing it, finally getting it sparkling with natural metal sense.
Another innovation of the Hydra is the texture on the handle. Just like sketching, our designer draws lines with different intervals and tilt angles to make a specific visual effect, like a sinuous snake, meandering between two handles. When viewing from different angles, you can always get amazing patterns under the flowing light!
To some extent, the Hydra is a combination of state-of-the-art technology and the advanced design concept from Nabalis!
Flips fantastic. Light and nimble flipper. The false edge let's you know when you messed up but without an actual cut. Great tolerances. Great machining. Came with a sweet carry case that will fit a few knives, oil, thread lock, ect. Also comes with some stickers. 10/10 Great job
I was pleasantly surprised by the look and feel of the Hydra Trainer! It flips very smooth and the false blade is a nice look. Nabalis was very quick to respond and prompt in handling any issue.
This is an aluminium handled balisong with a false live blade. It’s the benchmark of everything else in the hobby now. I got it for the looks alone, but the harpoon version blew me away. I use it every day. The tip is kinda rounded so it’s even safer, but it is just the most balisong balisong I’ve used. I loved this so much I ordered a tanto version too. Also, I’ve had this for a few months now, flip it constantly and had a few really bad drops and it’s still tight and flips perfectly. This is the most slept on balisong in the hobby.
It's good to flip, but it also feels a bit light and takes some getting used to, it doesn't feel like there's any handle or blade bias which is interesting. But overall I would heavily recommend this to anyone looking for a really good quality balisong
