Nabalis products are balisong "trainers", NOT real knives. The "blade" in the pictures is dull and only meant to simulate the weight and feel of a real blade. These trainers are NOT weapons and are intended for recreational and educational purposes ONLY.
Shipment times are determined by your location and the product(s) you have purchased. Please keep in mind that we require 2-3 business days (excluding Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) to process your order before it is shipped out.
Orders generally ship within 24 hours. (Excluding weekends and holidays) Once an order ships, we'll send you a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number and link.

Korea now requires strict verification of the personal customs clearance code:Starting July 11, 2024, Cainiao will verify the accuracy of the customs clearance code for all orders to Korea (the code must be valid and match the recipient's registered name and phone number). Orders that fail this verification will not be able to be placed.When placing your order, please double check this information. We usually send a "shipping info confirmation" email on the same day - please review that.
-Turkey
To avoid extra customs procedures and fees, please provide your ID number (personal tax ID) when placing your order.
-Chile
Chile does not have an RUT (personal tax ID), so logistics providers are rejecting our orders there. We cannot ship to Chile without an RUT, so please provide this when placing your order.
This can be divided into two cases:
Typically, if a package is returned by the logistics provider due to prohibited items, we'll reship the same day we get the return notice and update the tracking. So check your email if you see a return, and contact us if you don't see an update.
Our logistics partners have had a very difficult time reliably shipping balisongs to Hawaii. Past Hawaii orders often required 3+ shipping attempts before successful delivery, and some were ultimately undeliverable, so we've had to close the Hawaii market.
Yes, we do ship to Canada, the UK, Germany, and Australia. For information on our customs clearance rates, please check our Customs Issues Page.If your package is unfortunately held up by customs, even after you've actively cooperated with the clearance process, we will provide a refund or reship the order. (So far, all reshipments have been successful.)
On the day you receive the package, please check the contents - if anything is missing, let us know right away and we'll reship it. After 7 days, we won't be able to do a reshipment.
Nabalis wants to create a cute, public-friendly, and harmless metal balisong. With the current manufacturing processes, even after anodizing, the balisong will still have a pure metal visual, no matter how vibrant the color, and this simply cannot meet our requirements. After some searching, we found that ceramic coatings and Teflon coatings can achieve the ideal effect we're looking for.
Balisongs with ceramic and Teflon coatings won't have a heavy metal feel to their appearance. Combined with a cute cheese-inspired design and adorable colors, these "cute" elements will further reduce the metallic look, making it appear more like a toy. Even in public spaces, people won't perceive it as "dangerous."
After a series of tests, we found that for balisongs with ceramic coatings, if they were dropped on the floor during flipping, the ceramic coating on the handle surface would easily peel off. Even a light tap with the hand would cause the ceramic coating to peel off in large areas, which would have a significant impact on the overall appearance of the balisong.
In contrast, for balisongs with Teflon coatings, even when dropped on the floor during flipping, the Teflon coating on the handle surface did not peel off, minimizing the impact on the appearance.
Ultimately, we are more inclined to use the Teflon material.
Why Create the Cheese?
We want to create a cute, harmless, public-friendly metal balisong that can introduce more people to balisongs and the balisong community, allowing them to experience the joy of flipping.We hope balisong culture can move out onto the streets, becoming a healthy, sunny hobby that showcases technical skill, and spread the joy of flipping and a positive lifestyle to more people.

Cheese - Beginner and Public Friendly Metal Trainer
My first two balisongs are this Nabalis Cheese and Nabalis Canyon. I'm happy I went with both these instead of a single more expensive one. Both are excellent.
Only negatives:
- Color could be more yellow than pastel yellow, only preference though.
- I think it might make more sense to have the cheese-hole jimping on the safe handle instead of the bite handle.
- Blade is not perfectly machined, but nothing to impact functionality is sharp edges.
Out of these two the Cheese has seen about 30% of the playtime in my first two weeks ish. Being able to swap between balisongs is great. I think fans are easier on the canyon, but Im using the Cheese for any finger rolling stuff and tricks that have risk of dropping on my feet. Canyon w/ false edge is too pointy for that. I've got around 4 months experience with Begleri and Chetki skilltoys (highly recommended) but don't really feel any tricks translate to balisong yet.
The cheese is very public friendly. Not a fan of noisy stuff but the noise from this is satisfying. I do prefer the canyon for more silent play and a overall less annoying sound for others. I got the version with a 3D-printed stand - awesome for display but not that practical if you pick it up several times a day - the stand follows along with it.
