Know your balisong butterfly knife trainer

Well, before you start practicing tricks, you need to familiarize yourself with the two handles of the butterfly knife, namely, the safe handle and the bite handle, which is significant and fundamental.

Safe handle: Your balisong has two handles and generally speaking, your blade will have one cutting edge. The handle that is on the side without the cutting edge is your safe handle. This is because your knife will not cut you while you hold this handle, even when contacting the blade. Usually, there is no latch at the end of safe handle.

Bite handle: This is the handle that is on the side with the cutting edge. If you're holding the bite handle and the blade contacts your hand you will be cut. Oftentimes, trainers will have some sort of indicator incorporated into their blade so you can feel the difference without actually being cut.

CRUCIAL ADVICE: Use your wrist more than your arm when flipping. This approach reduces fatigue, minimizes the risk of injury, and enhances the fluidity of your tricks. Enjoy your learning journey!
