Design Drawing Requirements:
Blade: At least one view required.
Handle: At least two views required.
Accepted File Formats:
1. Submissions can be in any of the following formats: hand-drawn sketches, 3D models, renderings, or technical drawings. Multiple formats can be submitted simultaneously.
2. If submitting a 3D model file, it must be in STEP or STL format.
3. AI-generated images are strictly prohibited.
Material Requirements:
Blade Materials: 420 stainless steel, 440C stainless steel
Handle Materials: 6061 aluminum, 7075 aluminum, G10
Surface Finish Requirements:
Blade: Bead blasted, stonewashed, black oxide coating, mirror-polished, Teflon coating
Handle: Bead-blasted anodization, polished anodization, Teflon coating
Friendly Reminders:
●Please familiarize yourself with CNC machining before starting your design!
●Community feedback will be one of the selection criteria to help guide the butterfly knife design choices.
●The final review and modifications will be discussed with the designer to ensure manufacturability.
