💬 CWN2025 – A Heartfelt Thank You
First and foremost, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to every designer who participated in CWN2025.
Thank you for your courage, your creativity, and your passion.
With every sketch, you brought to life a unique vision of what a balisong could be.
This year, we saw a stunning variety of styles:
Designs inspired by cultural heritage, minimalist shapes echoing industrial beauty, retro aesthetics brimming with nostalgia, and futuristic concepts that push the limits of imagination.
Each submission carried not only craftsmanship but also deep personal expression.
What moved us most, however, was the diversity of our participants — not only in style, but in age.
Among the many designs were those created by remarkably young designers, some of them still in elementary school.
With crayons, pencils, and wild imagination, they sketched out the balisongs of their dreams.
The lines may have been uneven, the colors bold and unrefined — but within those drawings lived something powerful:
A raw, unfiltered love for balisongs. A spark of creativity that shines far beyond skill.
Those tiny hands may be young, but the balisongs they dreamed up were far from childish.
In fact, many were outstanding — full of charm, character, and clever detail.
And in those crayon-colored sketches, we saw something greater than just a design.
We saw the soul of the balisong community — vibrant, alive, and enduring.
To our community members:
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you for every vote, every comment, and every moment of support.
Each vote wasn't just for a design — it was a gesture of belief in this community.
Each click helped bring the Nabalis dream closer: a growing, welcoming space where creativity thrives.
CWN2025 was more than a contest.
It became a celebration of connection — between artists, flippers, collectors, and dreamers.
And it proved once again: when a community creates together, the result is always bigger than any one design.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
We can't wait to see what you’ll create next.

(listed in alphabetical order)
🙏 Thank You Again
A huge thanks to every voter and designer. Your creativity and passion drive the heart of Nabalis—and bold adventures await!
Your Next Adventure in Balisongs.
Name: Bobasong Designer: @disukomusic

The "Bobasong V2," (or "Boba" for short) designed by Disuko with Milky Labs, aims to provide a cute, friendly, and pastel approach to balisongs. It is inspired by boba tea and is very bubbly! It is designed to fit right in at home with Nabalis' other whimsical designs, like the Cheese.
One thing I wanted to highlight with the Bobasong is customization and individuality. While the design fits within my personal aesthetic, the G10 scales can be dyed, many teflon coating colors are offered, and the weights can easily be swapped out to different balance profiles. My favorite part about the balisong hobby is the diversity in both flippers and their knives, and I hope everyone enjoys the ways the Bobasong shows that!
Name: Crescent Designer: @ivyilv X @jappiebalisong

The Crescent started when I saw the Create With Nabalis competition post. After that, I jumped into designing the handles and the trainer blade. The Crescent represents my design philosophy, which is minimal but pleasing to the eye, with straight lines and a simple hole pattern. The problem was I didn’t know how to create a 3D model, so I decided to team up with @jappiebalisong to model and bring the idea to life. The balisong went through many revisions over a week, with many hours spent on redesigning, hearing out feedback, and rendering. It honestly was a thrill to work with @jappiebalisong and submit for this competition.
Name: Flare Designer: Аlex ExcelArt

The Flare is a modern balisong where bold design meets flawless balance. Born from a passion for flipping, every angle and cut reflects speed, control, and style. With its vibrant, sporty aesthetic and meticulously crafted form, it's more than a tool — it's a statement in motion.
The Flare didn't just come from a sketchpad — it became a reflection of my own attitude towards flipping. As a flipper myself, I've always seen balisong not just as a hobby, but as a form of sport and choreography. It's movement, rhythm, and precision — and I wanted The Flare to reflect that. That's why its design is fast, athletic, and full of contrast — as a sport uniform or inventory.
But beyond its sporty roots, The Flare also breaks away from traditional balisong design language. I wanted it to feel modern — clean, deliberate, and distinct. The colored frame, partial blade accents, and bold contrast details are not often seen in the balisong space. These elements give it a crisp, contemporary look that sets it apart — not just as a tool for flipping, but as a design object in its own right.
